You recently requested to report your Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey (JOLTS) data by email. Soon, you’ll receive an email from joltsmail@bls.gov that you will reply to with your monthly JOLTS data.

The JOLTS data collection period begins on the first business day of each month and lasts approximately two and a half weeks. At the start of each month, you will receive an email reminder to report your JOLTS data for the prior month. At the start of each month, you will receive an email reminder to report your JOLTS data for the prior month. Up to three additional reminders will be sent if we have not received your data.

When it is time to report, please submit your data in the body of a response to the email reminder. You can also attach an external file containing your data if that is preferable. You can email your JOLTS data 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
