Description: This information
collection is required to satisfy the
requirements of section 15B and section
15C of the Securities Exchange Act of
1934, which require, in part, any
national bank or Federal savings
association that acts as a government
securities broker/dealer or a municipal
securities dealer to file the appropriate
form with the OCC to inform the agency
of its broker/dealer activities. The OCC
uses this information to determine
which national banks and Federal
savings associations are acting as
government securities broker/dealers
and municipal securities dealers and to
monitor entry into and exit from these
activities by institutions and registered
persons. The OCC also uses the
information in planning national bank
and Federal savings association
examinations.

Abstract: VA Form 21–4193 is used to
gather the necessary information to
determine whether VA benefits should
be reduced or terminated based on
incarceration of the beneficiary. Without
this collection of information, VA
would be unable to accurately adjust the
rates of incarcerated beneficiaries and
overpayments would result. No changes
have been made to this form. The
respondent burden has increased due to
the estimated number of receivables
averaged over the past year.
An agency may not conduct or
sponsor, and a person is not required to
respond to a collection of information
unless it displays a currently valid OMB
control number. The Federal Register

Abstract: The VA Form 21P–0537,
Marital Status Questionnaire, is used to
confirm the marital status of a surviving
spouse in receipt of Dependency and
Indemnity Compensation (DIC) benefits.
If a surviving spouse remarries, he or
she is no longer entitled to DIC unless
the marriage begins after age 55 or has
been terminated. This is an extension.
The respondent burden has remained
the same.
An agency may not conduct or
sponsor, and a person is not required to
respond to a collection of information
unless it displays a currently valid OMB
