Section 122 of Public Law 113–128, the
Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act of 2014 (WIOA), requires
states to establish procedures regarding the eligibility of
training providers to receive funds through WIOA title 1-B to
provide training services in local areas within the state. The
Governor or a designated state agency (or state entity) is required
to collect this information in order to determine eligibility of
training providers and to maintain and to publicly disseminate the
state eligible training provider (ETP) list.
