The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) is requesting a no material or non-substantive change approval from the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for (OMB No. 0930-0394) 988 Cooperative Agreements Monitoring Program.
SAMHSA is requesting a non-substantive change to revise questions to align with E.O. 14168 Defending Women From Gender Ideology Extremism and Restoring Biological Truth to the Federal Government.
SAMHSA is requesting to remove the following from both the client level and administrative level tools. These changes will not impact the current burden hours:
Remove sexual orientation and gender identity measures.
Replace the word “gender” with “sex” and maintain only the “male” and “female” response options.
Removed references to “sexual identity,” and “transgender” from State and Territory Cohort 2: Quarterly Report.
